As the founder and CEO of Baay Projects and Baay Agro, Segun leads with a passion for sustainable development and a commitment to excellence and impact, merging integrity with innovation to create lasting value in the community.

His work has earned him recognition, including a spot in Business Elites Africa’s 40 Under 40, highlighting his dedication to setting new standards for the industries he champions. Early Life and Education

Segun’s journey in entrepreneurship began at a young age, inspired by his grandmother’s Black soap trade. That early exposure instilled in him an understanding of hard work, discipline, and integrity and a passion for business that would later fuel his success in both real estate and agriculture.

Today, he leads Baay Projects and Baay Realty—a trailblazing construction and real estate company, respectively—and Baay Agro—a venture
focused on revolutionizing agribusiness to support rural development centered on smallholder farmers’ support to contribute their quota to Africa’s food security and economic growth.

Professional Journey

Segun’s professional journey spans multiple industries, including real estate, technology, and finance. He began his career as an Agro-tech expert, where he quickly demonstrated his strategic insight and leadership abilities. Rising through the ranks, he has since become a trusted advisor to senior executives and has served as Managing Director of Baay Agro, as well as Baay Projects, where he leads with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and innovation.

Vision & Values

Driven by a commitment to impact communities, sustainable development, and passion for success, Segun envisioned fostering innovative spaces where communities can thrive, not limited to residential real estate but also in commercial and hospitality realty.

As a certified civil and environmental engineer, he believes in building more than just structures; each project by Baay Projects is crafted to enhance lifestyles, empower communities, and contribute to sustainable development.

Through Baay Agro, he aims to modernize Nigeria’s agricultural sector with adequate support to smallholder farmers and women in agriculture, who contribute to over 65% of the local agricultural production in Africa, bridging the gap between local producers and global markets to unlock opportunities for farmers and improve food production practices.
